Are Business card printing Obsolete?
The theory with this article came after doing a LinkedIn discussion group where someone posed this topic. “While dealing with a collection of business cards the idea struck me that many were outdated since many in the companies no more exist or perhaps the person around the card managed to move on. I have found the best way to on LinkedIn along with other sites and obtain shown people both on the phone and electronically. Now, when a card is uploaded or information is held in a mobile device the credit card gets discarded. (Until you are a pack rat.) Can we need business cards in this brave ” new world “?”
This responses were so intriguing and varied i thought I would incorporate them into this information and hopefully provide some enhancements which you might make to your cards when that you’ve them printed.
On this social media era one would think perhaps that this usefulness of an business card will go with the wayside. So many people are so connected with their cell phone and apps that perhaps they are obsolete. Does one remember a long time ago, pre-Smart Phones, if we all had Palm Pilots and also you would exchange info by pointing it at each other! That thing went the way of the Beeper!
